AEW President Tony Khan wasted no time celebrating AEW Dynamite’s May 14 ratings win over WWE NXT, taking to Twitter to thank fans for tuning in to the show.

Khan tweeted, “Thank you all who watched Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite Beach Break last night! The most watched Dynamite of 2025, most viewers on @TBSNetwork since September, which was before we added @StreamOnMax audience + most important it was a great Dynamite! See you Saturday #AEWCollision!”

Dynamite drew 682,000 viewers, up from the 629,000 viewers on May 7, and posted a 0.17 rating in the P18–49 demographic. WWE NXT fell short, pulling in 664,000 viewers and a 0.15 demo rating, making this a significant victory for AEW on Wednesday night.

The May 14 episode delivered some major storyline payoffs, including MJF officially joining the Hurt Syndicate after Bobby Lashley gave him the nod of approval. Gabe Kidd also made a shocking appearance at the end of Jon Moxley and Samoa Joe’s chaotic steel cage match, setting the stage for a potential showdown at Double or Nothing.
