As reported earlier, Chris Hero has been working backstage in a producer role at recent AEW events. However, AEW President Tony Khan expressed intrest to see Hero wrestle for the company in a response to fans on Twitter.

Khan wrote, “I’m chipping away on him. I can’t say for sure if I’ll ever get him, but I’ll keep chipping away at him on a weekly basis, and hopefully someday he’ll crack. Either way, I love working with him.”

Khan’s comment indicates his ongoing efforts to convince Hero to join the AEW roster as a wrestler. While he cannot guarantee that Hero will debut on AEW television, Khan expressed his admiration for working with him and his determination to continue pursuing the possibility.

Fans of AEW will have to wait and see if Chris Hero ultimately decides to wrestle for the company.
