Tony Khan is proud of ROH, but the broadcast product does not reflect the standard expected from a national pro wrestling company. He tried to hype ROH’s Final Battle tonight, and that sort of blew up in his face.
The President of AEW and ROH logged onto X, where he posted to thank fans for watching ROH Final Battle tonight, along with AEW Collision tomorrow. He did this in his usual style, where he plugged both shows, but then fans started to fire off in the comments.
ROH went on the air tonight with a kickoff show, and the audio was terrible. This mono sounding broadcast was not received well at all by fans, and they let Tony Khan know about it.
One fan posted in reply to Tony Khan to say, “Fix the audio please it sounds horrible.” Many more chimed in to echo that plea.
The sound on the ROH Final Battle broadcast has been tinny and terrible so far. This makes it hard to listen with any headphones, because the broadcast sounds worse than a local pro wrestling company’s decades old recording from a high school gym. Needless to say, fans are hoping that ROH fixes this before the actual pay-per-view starts.
Another fan posted to say, “Just wanted to let you guys know that there’s a slight audio issue at least on YouTube. We can’t hear the entrance music so I’m not sure what the problem is but I’m sure someone will get it fixed. Have a good show.”
One fan chimed in to troll Tony Khan a bit about Netflix’s recent deal to buy Warner Bros Discovery. After all, many fans are wondering if Netflix will simply cut AEW because they’re in business with WWE. “Fix the audio TK. Netflix won’t be happy,” they posted.
The replies to Tony Khan’s post were a bit relentless, but fans had a reason to troll him this time. ROH is trying to get fans to pay for their event, but they can’t hear anything when they tune in to see what the company is offering as a free sample on social media. Hopefully, they fix things, but Tony Khan’s notifications certainly tell a different story for now.
