Rebel is in the fight of her life, and now she’s getting a major show of support from AEW’s top boss.
On November 18, Rebel took to Instagram with a heartfelt update—this time thanking Tony Khan for sending her a gift basket after she went public with her cancer diagnosis. In the photo, Rebel is seen holding the basket, filled with snacks and wrapped in a brown bow, as she continues her battle with primary pulmonary lymphoma.
“Thank you @tonyrkhan for the kind words and gift basket. Your support means the world to me 🙏🏼 #AEW”
This update comes just days after Rebel shared the heartbreaking details of her medical journey. She revealed that she had been misdiagnosed with fungal pneumonia for an entire year before doctors at the Mayo Clinic discovered she actually had primary pulmonary lymphoma—a rare cancer in the lungs.
But the complications didn’t stop there. Rebel also disclosed that she developed Functional Neurological Disorder, which took away her ability to walk and speak. She’s now undergoing rehab to regain basic motor functions before she can even begin cancer treatment.
Rebel explained she’s on IV antibiotics for a serious infection that must be cleared before chemotherapy or radiation can begin. If all goes well, her treatment will officially start in early 2026.
Despite everything, the former AEW personality remains positive and strong—clearly touched by the support she’s receiving behind the scenes. Tony Khan’s gesture is just the latest sign that she’s not facing this alone.
