Tony Khan is fired up for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, and he’s especially excited about one man: Andrade El Idolo.

Appearing on The Rich Eisen Show, the AEW President hyped Wednesday night’s card from Las Vegas, which includes a massive singles match between Andrade and Kenny Omega—two top-tier contenders hoping to earn a future AEW World Title shot against reigning champion MJF. Khan didn’t hold back in his praise, saying:

“Kenny Omega is one of the top challengers and certainly one of the top champions we’ve ever had in AEW. One of the greatest wrestlers ever in AEW, and he’s back at his very best.”

He then turned his attention to Andrade, who returned to AEW in January after a complicated stint in WWE:

“We have Andrade El Idolo, who’s returned very recently to AEW. And he is truly, I think, at his very best right now I’ve ever seen him. That’s a huge match.”

Andrade’s comeback had a delay due to a non-compete clause following his WWE release in September 2025, but since returning, he’s looked sharp—most recently scoring a win over Swerve Strickland.

His opponent this week, Omega, is another major name aiming for MJF’s title, making Wednesday’s Dynamite a must-watch.

Also on the show: MJF vs. Brody King in an eliminator match where King earns a title shot if he wins. MJF has gone on record vowing to beat King in under two minutes.
