Tony Khan ‘Had No Idea’ He Was Going To Hit A Stunner After AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan closed out the night after AEW Dynamite this week by hitting Shawn Spears with a stunner. This was after referee Aubrey Edwards did the same.

When thanked for his stunner, Tony Khan explained that he didn’t know it was happening. It was apparently called in the ring and he couldn’t say no.

Dude, I had no idea that was happening. Cody called me out, I went to thank the crowd, Nick asked me if I wanted to do a stunner, I said no, then Spears was screaming my name and calling for it, then I heard people in the crowd calling for it, and at that point, I had no choice.

Some fans have come down on AEW for Tony Khan’s stunner. It was all in good fun. Let’s just see if it makes the cut on AEW Dark next week.
