Tony Khan is back on his 4:20 grind—and AEW fans are here for it. Just hours before AEW Collision airs live from the Peoria Civic Center, the AEW president took to Twitter with a very specific countdown, and yes, it came with another nod to 4:20.

“It’s 4:20 on Saturday, therefore only 3 hours and 40 more minutes until Saturday Night #AEWCollision TONIGHT,” Khan tweeted, tagging both TNT and Max. “Don’t miss Collision. The last TV before #AEWDynasty TONIGHT!”

This isn’t the first time Khan has slipped in a 4:20 reference to hype a show. Back on Christmas Day 2024, he tweeted, “It’s 4:20pm in Chicago, which means only 2 hours and 40 minutes until Christmas Night #AEWDynamite!” That one had fans lighting up timelines just as much as their holiday plans.

Khan’s 4:20 tweets have become part of his quirky brand online, combining countdowns with winks to cannabis culture that clearly don’t go unnoticed by the AEW faithful. Whether you think it’s just a timing gimmick or not, it certainly gets attention—and that’s exactly what he wants before a big night like this.

AEW Collision tonight is stacked with matches including Mercedes Moné & Harley Cameron vs. Athena & Julia Hart, Cash Wheeler vs. PAC, and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey vs. Dralistico, with Ricochet on commentary. Plus, fans are looking forward to the Max Caster open challenge and a sit-down interview with Daniel Garcia and Adam Cole.

Do you think Tony Khan’s 4:20 tweets add to the AEW fun, or should he leave the weed references out of the countdowns? Drop your take in the comments—we want to hear from you.
