Tony Khan is making it clear—when Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada face off at AEW All In: Texas, it’s more than just a title match. It’s a piece of wrestling history playing out in real time.

During his appearance on The Battleground Podcast, Khan went all-in on hyping the July 12, 2025 event at Globe Life Field. The AEW President didn’t just promote the card—he made it clear Omega vs. Okada is one of the most important rivalries pro wrestling has ever seen.

“One of the greatest rivalries of all time to me in sports, but certainly in the history of pro wrestling — and that is the AEW International Champion Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada.”

Khan emphasized that Omega and Okada’s legendary history—rooted in their iconic New Japan battles—will now spill over into AEW for the first time on this kind of stage. With Okada also holding the AEW Continental Championship, the stakes are even higher.

But that wasn’t the only bold claim Khan made. He didn’t hesitate to call All In: Texas the biggest U.S. event in AEW history, pointing to the venue, the card, and the fan demand already surrounding the show.

“AEW All In coming up July 12th, just weeks away, it’s the biggest AEW event ever in America and it’s a can’t-miss show. AEW always delivers on pay-per-view and this is unique because this is the biggest stage AEW’s ever attempted in America.”

Khan also stressed AEW’s proven ability to deliver on major pay-per-views, boasting about the company’s consistency when it comes to top-tier shows.

“We’ve been doing shows for over six years, we have an incredible track record of delivering on these pay-per-views. We bat the highest average, I think, of anybody when it comes to putting on major events. You can always count on an AEW pay-per-view having great matches and having absolutely great, great, great rivalries and a great time for the fans.”

The venue alone is part of the hype. Khan pointed out how running Globe Life Field is a major milestone for AEW.

“This is going to be a great environment too. It’s very unique. So I think if you can’t make it to Globe Life Field in Texas, hopefully you can be there live. It’s so fun to experience these shows live, as you saw at Grand Slam Mexico — the fans were having a great time and that was a unique environment. This is going to be something unique. We’ve never tried to run a major stadium like this, and it’s poised to be the biggest AEW crowd in America ever.”

Khan confirmed the show is already breaking records.

“It’s already one of the top three gates in the history of the company, and it’s going to be surely one of the greatest events. We’ve got major matches, major championship fights with huge implications.”

Those major matches include Hangman Page vs. AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Toni Storm defending the AEW Women’s World Title against Mercedes Moné, and of course, the dream match that has Khan fired up the most—Omega vs. Okada for AEW gold.
