Tony D’Angelo Reveals Method Behind Calculated Return During February 3 WWE NXT

Tony D’Angelo has been on a tear in NXT since his surprise return. He hasn’t been given a big chance to speak his mind until now.

The February 3 episode of NXT gave Tony D’Angelo some time on the microphone. He made it clear that he spent his time away from NXT sitting in a dark room, remembering that he’s a former North American and Tag Team Champion in NXT, not to mention an All-American.

Tony D’Angelo said that his return was based on keeping things secret. He said in a business where everyone knows everything, nobody knew nothing. He liked that, and that was his plan.

He revealed that his return went down because of two reasons. He wanted DarkState. It’s not about vengeance; it’s about punishment for D’Angelo. The stable took everything from them, so he’s out to take everything from them. He then revealed that his second reason is “you’ll find out when I’m done with DarkState.”

We will have to see what happens in the future. DarkState is on notice, and Tony D’Angelo looks very motivated to do something big after his long hiatus.
