Tony D’Angelo Makes Impressive In-Ring Return During 2/17 WWE NXT

Tony D’Angelo has been on a tear in NXT since his surprise return. He hasn’t been given a big chance to show off in the ring until now.

The February 17 episode of NXT was a fun show, and it saw Tony D’Angelo finally get back into the ring. This was also not a great night for DarkState.

This week on NXT, Tony D’Angelo made his in-ring return in a match against DarkState’s Cutler James. This match didn’t last very long at all before the former Don of NXT walked away with the decisive win.

Tony D’Angelo returned to the fold in NXT in early December. He’s made it his mission to destroy DarkState since then. It looks like he is well on his way to achieving that.

This marked Tony D’Angelo’s first televised match since July 15, 2025, as he returned to defeat Channing Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino in a Triple Threat match. We will have to see what he is able to do next.
