Another name from NXT may be headed for the big leagues—and this time, it’s “The Don” himself.

According to Cory Hays of Bodyslam, Tony D’Angelo has been thrown around as a potential call-up to WWE’s main roster. This report follows earlier rumblings that Trick Williams and Lola Vice are already in the conversation for RAW or SmackDown, but now D’Angelo has officially entered the mix.

D’Angelo has racked up a solid list of accomplishments in NXT, including a run as NXT North American Champion after defeating Oba Femi in October 2024. He held the title for 147 days before losing it to Shawn Spears on the March 4 edition of NXT. He’s also a former two-time NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Stacks Lorenzo, and once held the Heritage Cup as well.

Recently, D’Angelo’s been caught in a messy storyline with Darkstate and his former tag partner Stacks, who turned on him at Stand & Deliver. On the April 22 episode of NXT, Stacks was seen talking to Luca Crusifino—and moments later, Crusifino was seemingly “taken out.”

Now, all eyes are on next week’s NXT, where D’Angelo and Stacks will finally come face to face to address the chaos and Crusifino’s mysterious disappearance.

If Tony D’Angelo does get the call, it would mark a major shift in WWE’s post-WrestleMania roster landscape—and possibly bring some NXT drama to primetime.

Do you think Tony D’Angelo is ready for RAW or Smack Down? Or should WWE let him finish his business in NXT first? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
