Toni Storm may be running the AEW women’s division, but that doesn’t mean she loved every second of her rise to the top. In fact, the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion just made it clear there’s one match she’d rather forget entirely—her title bout against Mariah May at AEW Revolution 2025.

During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo from Instinct Culture, Storm was asked to name her favorite moment since joining AEW. But the “Timeless” champion wasn’t interested in picking just one.

“I don’t have a favorite,” Storm admitted. “There have been so many scenes. So many films. So many moments. I couldn’t possibly pick one.”

Salcedo turned the question around, suggesting that her personal favorite was Storm’s Hollywood Ending match at AEW Revolution, where Storm defended her title against the now-former Mariah May. But Storm’s reaction made it clear she didn’t share the enthusiasm.

“I’m glad someone enjoyed it,” Storm fired back. “I didn’t. Horrible ordeal. I’m glad it’s amusement for someone.”

The Hollywood Ending showdown at Revolution saw Storm defeat Mariah May to extend her AEW Women’s World Championship reign. It also turned out to be Mariah’s final match in AEW. Shortly after, she jumped ship to WWE, where she now competes on NXT under the name Blake Monroe.

Storm’s reign as champion is still going strong as she prepares for her biggest test yet—a title defense against Mercedes Moné at AEW All In: Texas on July 12 at Globe Life Field.

Love her or hate her, Toni Storm’s run as AEW Women’s World Champion continues to be full of headlines—and it sounds like even she’s not too sentimental about how she got there.
