Tommaso Ciampa Shows Off New Championship—But It’s Not from WWE

Tommaso Ciampa might not be heading to WrestleMania 41 with gold around his waist, but he just added a different kind of title to his collection—and it came with a tux.

The Blackheart took to Instagram to reveal that he spent the weekend officiating a wedding in Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire, for his cousin Paul Wayne Howard and new in-law Jamie Danner. But Ciampa didn’t just lead the ceremony—he was honored with a custom-made Wedding Officiant Championship belt to mark the occasion.

“Best. Night. Ever. ❤️ … My first time officiating a wedding. … Perfect couple. Perfect day,” Ciampa wrote on Instagram, tagging @paulwayneliving and @jamie.danner along with a few photos of him holding the title belt and posing with his wife and daughter.

The moment comes shortly after Ciampa and Johnny Gargano (as #DIY) lost a tag team title number one contender’s match to The Motor City Machine Guns on the April 4 episode of SmackDown. The loss ruled them out of the WrestleMania SmackDown title match this Friday in Las Vegas, where Shelley and Sabin will now face The Street Profits instead.

So while Ciampa may not be walking into Allegiant Stadium with a shot at WWE gold, he’s at least leaving the weekend with some bling of his own—and a title no one else on the roster can claim.
