Tommaso Ciampa has made his long-term intentions clear, revealing that he hopes to finish his wrestling career in AEW while continuing to build the final chapter of his in-ring legacy.
During a recent K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, “The Psycho Killer” spoke openly about how much he enjoys being part of AEW and why the company feels like the right place for him at this stage of his career. While he also teased character developments ahead, his strongest comments centered on his desire to remain with AEW through retirement.
Ciampa made it clear that his time in AEW has started on a positive note, and he believes there is more to come as he settles into his role.
“So far, I like it a lot. I love the start,” Ciampa said of settling into AEW. “There’s a lot of fun things I have in the works and ways to evolve the character and just gotta be patient (and) let that all play out but, we’re on to some good stuff. There’s some really cool plans in the works.”
However, the most telling moment came when Ciampa discussed his long-term vision, explaining that AEW is where he hopes to wrap up his career. He pointed to the company’s environment and how it treats his family as a major reason behind that decision.
“I’m hoping that I get to ride into the sunset with AEW to be honest with you. I really like it there. They treat my family extremely well, and my little one is having a blast.”
Ciampa’s comments offer a rare glimpse into how he views the later stages of his career. Rather than bouncing between promotions, he appears focused on stability and finishing strong in one place. That kind of commitment could shape how AEW uses him moving forward, especially if the company sees him as a veteran presence who can contribute both in the ring and behind the scenes.
With Ciampa openly stating that he wants AEW to be his final stop, his future storylines could take on added meaning as he works toward closing out his career on his own terms.
