Tommaso Ciampa isn’t just All Elite—he’s also heading back to the indies.

AAW Wrestling has announced that Ciampa will be appearing at AAW EPIC: The 22 Year Anniversary Event on March 20, 2026, at the historic Berwyn Eagles Club in Berwyn, Illinois.

Ciampa previously competed for AAW, including a bout against Pentagon Jr. for the AAW World Heavyweight Championship—one of the promotion’s most talked-about matches. This booking signals that Ciampa, while now part of the AEW roster, may have the flexibility to work select independent dates as part of his new wrestling chapter. That move aligns with AEW’s more open approach to talent freedom—something Ciampa hinted at valuing during his recent SHAK Wrestling interview.

With Ciampa’s first AEW match taking place on Collision and independent appearances now on the horizon, it’s clear he’s crafting a post-WWE path on his own terms.

Will Tommaso Ciampa wrestle at AAW EPIC—or is this just the beginning of a wider indie return tour? Drop your predictions in the comments below.
