Fans were left frustrated and confused when AEW Collision’s May 17th broadcast abruptly ended at 9:30 PM, with The Rock’s Black Adam movie suddenly taking over the airwaves.

TBS quickly addressed the situation, displaying a black scroll bar at the bottom of the screen that read: “Due to technical difficulties, AEW Collision is not airing tonight. Please check allelitewrestling.com for wrestling updates.”

The unexpected switch occurred just before the ROH Tag Team Champions match featuring Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara vs. The CRU, which was set to determine a title shot against the Hurt Syndicate at Double or Nothing. Despite being taped on May 14th at the NOW Arena in Chicago, IL, the main event never aired, leaving fans in the dark about the outcome.

Viewers immediately took to social media, demanding answers from both TBS and AEW, as many speculated whether the “technical difficulties” explanation was a cover for something more. AEW has yet to release a statement clarifying the sudden programming change, and the official website has not provided further updates regarding the missing main event.
