Injuries are always a risk in professional wrestling and can quickly stop a wrestler’s momentum dead in its tracks. Unfortunately, it appears that a TNA star suffered an injury during the Sacrifice pay-per-view event.
TNA Wrestling’s Sacrifice pay-per-view took place in El Paso, Texas and was truly a night of memorable moments and solid matches. One of the highlights was undoubtedly Mustafa Ali’s match against Mike Santana, which saw Ali win but he didn’t come out of it unscathed.
According to Fightful Select, Mustafa Ali suffered a dislocated jaw injury during the match. However, it was noted that Mustafa Ali managed to reset it himself and kept going in order to finish the match. Thankfully, the injury isn’t serious, and he is expected to continue wrestling as planned.
Mustafa Ali chose to re-sign with TNA Wrestling this year and it has cleared worked out well for him as he is already one of the biggest stars on the roster and his ability to power through the jaw injury shows just how tough he can be.
With TNA Unbreakable just weeks away, fans will be watching Mustafa Ali’s recovery closely. Knowing his determination, it’s expected that the dislocated jaw will not hold him back at all.
