TNA Wrestling’s growing relationship with WWE might be leading them back to a familiar stomping ground.

According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, the company is strongly considering Full Sail University as a home base for future tapings, much like WWE’s NXT once did.

TNA is already set to go live on February 20 for a special episode of Impact, marking a major move for the promotion. While the venue hasn’t been officially announced, Sapp dropped an intriguing hint during the Fightful Select Backstage Podcast.

“I find that very interesting. Orlando, live Impact,” Sapp said. “I will tell you another interesting thing—I didn’t put two and two together until this weekend, but I was told by a friend at Full Sail, ‘We’re not done with wrestling yet.’ And I said, ‘I know NXT is not supposed to go there.’ They said, ‘Nah, not that.’ I think there is a good chance that Full Sail hosts TNA Impact.”

The idea of Full Sail hosting Impact makes a lot of sense, given its deep-rooted history with professional wrestling. WWE’s NXT spent years taping at the venue, helping build the black-and-gold brand into a worldwide phenomenon. With TNA now linked to WWE through their new multi-year talent exchange deal, moving into Full Sail could give the company a steady home for high-energy tapings in front of a passionate fanbase.

TNA is already building momentum heading into 2025, with their Genesis pay-per-view this Sunday featuring major matches like Nic Nemeth defending the TNA World Title against Joe Hendry and Tessa Blanchard stepping back into the ring against Jordynne Grace. If Full Sail does become the next stop for Impact, it could be a game-changer for the company’s long-term direction.
