WWE and TNA Wrestling announced a multi-year partnership between the two companies that will see NXT Talent exchange with TNA stars. That being said, tonight’s Genesis pay-per-view will be a prime location to see even more of that crossover.
TNA Wrestling started 2025 with the Genesis pay-per-view at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. You never know what kind of surprises are coming for fans, and WWE fans will probably want to pay attention to the event as well.
PW Insider has reported that there will be WWE NXT personalities appearing tonight. It was not noted who will be showing up.
WWE and TNA Wrestling’s multi-year partnership allows TNA wrestlers to appear on NXT and NXT talent to appear on TNA programming. This is a trend that started in 2024 with the likes of Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, and The Rascalz showing up in NXT. Other NXT talent have also jumped over to TNA Wrestling for a several special cross-company matches.
It was later confirmed that Naomi actually had a lot to do with TNA Wrestling and WWE’s current partnership. We will have to see if The Glow returns to TNA Wrestling tonight, but it was noted that NXT talent are expected, and she is currently 1/2 of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on the main roster.
Tonight’s Genesis pay-per-view could be an eventful one. The card is loaded with matches, and many titles are on the line. Tessa Blanchard versus Jordynne Grace will also be a highlight for many, and only time will tell what kind of surprises await fans tonight
