TNA Wrestling’s international talent visa issues are still causing havoc backstage—and fans hoping to see Leon Slater, Dani Luna, or even producer Lance Storm are out of luck again.

According to a new report from PWInsider on January 22, 2026, those who were previously absent from TNA’s AMC debut due to unresolved U.S. work visa complications were also not backstage for tonight’s tapings in New Mexico. That means the situation remains unresolved, even after Storm broke down what’s going on behind the curtain just days ago.

In an appearance on Wrestling Observer Live on January 20, Lance Storm detailed how the group-based P-1B visa process—used by TNA—has thrown a wrench into operations for himself and other key roster members. Storm explained that, unlike WWE or WCW where he had an individual P-1A visa, TNA’s approach groups talent together under one application—causing delays for everyone if a single name hits a snag.

“I’m someone who requires a work visa to be in the United States, so I’m affected by this, along with Dani Luna and Leon Slater. There are probably a few others as well. It’s a group application because it’s a P-1B. So right now, I’m basically waiting around for everything to come through.”

Despite a strong AMC premiere that featured star power like AJ Styles, Matt Hardy, and Nic Nemeth, fan favorites like Steve Maclin, Slater, and Luna were noticeably absent—and now, fans know why.

The delay has left TNA with creative gaps as it launches a new era on AMC. And if tonight’s New Mexico taping is any indication, there’s no immediate solution in sight. TNA officials have not yet issued a public statement, but all signs point to more waiting—and more reshuffling of plans.

Do you think TNA should reconsider how it handles visas moving forward? And which missing star do you want back the most? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
