One of TNA’s most loyal factions may be officially done with the company.
According to PWInsider on January 13, 2026, TNA is no longer advertising the previously announced X-Division Championship match between Leon Slater and Myron Reed for the January 15 broadcast in Dallas. While Slater is still featured in official press releases and “tune in” graphics, Reed has been completely removed from all promotional material, raising eyebrows just days ahead of the premiere.
The update adds serious weight to speculation that’s been building since October 2025, when The Rascalz—Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, and Myron Reed—aired frustrations on TNA iMPACT about not being booked for Bound for Glory. In that same segment, Wentz revealed their contracts were set to expire at the end of 2025. Despite their long-standing presence and deep ties to the company, none of the trio made the pay-per-view card.
Fast forward to today, and the signs are unmistakable. It’s now being said that TNA did not exercise extension options on the contracts of both Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel. Myron Reed, meanwhile, has quietly updated his Twitter bio to label himself a “Free Agent.” As for Dezmond Xavier, who had recently reappeared on TNA programming, sources confirm he was never under a formal contract.
While all four Rascalz members are still listed on the official TNA roster page, sources within the company declined to comment on their current status—further suggesting the group may no longer be under any contractual obligation to the promotion.
Although new agreements can always be reached, the decision to remove Reed from the advertised title match—without any official announcement—suggests the original bout is off and that The Rascalz may already be finished with TNA.
What’s next for this tight-knit faction? A return to WWE? A run in AEW? Or a full-time move to the independent scene? Let us know where you want to see The Rascalz show up next.
