The August 19th edition of WWE NXT will be the go-home edition of the show before NXT Heatwave and now things will get more interesting, as a TNA star will be appearing on the episode.
WWE NXT’s official Twitter account took to the social media platform and announced that Masha Slamovich will be the special guest referee for the six-woman tag team match between Fatal Influence and the Elegance Brand on the August 19th edition of NXT.
“@mashaslamovich will be the Special Guest Referee for THIS TUESDAY’s Six-Woman Tag Team Match between Fatal Influence and The Elegance Brand on #WWENXT in Philadelphia!”
This comes after it was already confirmed that Jacy Jayne will be defending her TNA Knockouts Title against Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance at NXT Heatwave next week, so Masha being a special guest referee will definitely make things interesting for NXT next week.
That’s not all as Joe Hendry will also make an appearance on next week’s episode of NXT in Philadelphia. Therefore, we’ll have to see just how chaotic the show will turn out, since it’s clear TNA and WWE are both determined to make the show memorable ahead of NXT Heatwave.
