As WWE continues to load up the 2026 Royal Rumble card with fresh faces and surprises, one unexpected name just entered the conversation — TNA Wrestling’s Moose.
In an interview with SportsMattersTV on January 19, 2026, the former Impact World Champion addressed growing speculation about potential crossover appearances in this year’s Rumble. When asked directly about the idea of competing in WWE’s iconic 30-man match, Moose made his stance crystal clear: if the opportunity comes, he’s in.
“I’m open to it. I mean, who wouldn’t want to do the Royal Rumble?” he said. “But like I said, that’s not in my control. So I can’t worry about it or even think about it. I don’t lose sleep over it because I don’t control it, you know what I’m saying?”
Moose added that if it were up to him, he’d absolutely want to be involved—but he understands that decision lies entirely with WWE and its partners.
“Obviously, if it were my decision, of course I’d throw my name in the hat. But like I said, I don’t think about it and I don’t lose sleep over it, because I’m not in control of it.”
His comments come just as WWE ramps up promotion for the January 31 premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a new billboard spotted in Riyadh on January 18 featuring NXT stars like Tatum Paxley, Lola Vice, Ethan Page, Joe Hendry, and Thea Hail — signaling big-time cross-brand involvement.
A report from WrestleVotes Radio earlier this month also listed names like Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Jacob Fatu, and Tiffany Stratton as either scheduled or discussed for the event, adding to the Rumble’s growing mystique.
With Moose making it known he’s willing, the door—at least from his side—seems wide open. So it remains to be seen whether he will end up making his appearance in Saudi Arabia.
