TNA is doing really well right now, and that success is expected to continue at Slammiversary. With some big matches planned, fans can expect an exciting night full of moments they won’t forget.
Trick Williams will be putting his TNA World Title on the line against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana in a triple threat match. Williams is determined to retain the title and keep “Trick-NA” intact, while Hendry and Santana will stop at nothing to win the Title as well. It’s champion vs. champion as Masha Slamovich will face off against Jacy Jayne, where both the TNA Knockouts Title and the NXT Women’s Title will be on the line. It’s expected to be a solid match, so it remains to be seen who will walk out with both titles when all is said and done.
The Nemeths will defend the TNA World Tag Team Titles against the Hardys and The Rascalz and First Class in a ladder war, where anything goes and a ton of violence is expected. Jeff Hardy hinted at retirement if the Hardys don’t win, so we’ll have to see who will come out on top in the end.
Moose may be the most dominant X-Division Champion in years, but Leon Slater has been impressing fans with his in-ring skills and has a good chance against Moose. It’ll be a battle of different styles and fans can’t wait to see who will walk out with the TNA X-Division title once the dust settles.
AJ Styles will be making his return to TNA at the Slammiversary event this week and it will be his first appearance on TNA programming in over a decade. Naturally, fans are excited to see what the Phenomenal One will do at the show, as many hope it will lead to an extended run in TNA.
Tessa Blanchard will be duking it out with Indi Hartwell in singles competition. Cedric Alexander will be facing off against Mustafa Ali, which will be a rematch from their WrestleMania encounter a few years ago.
NXT’s DarkState will be squaring off against Matt Cardona, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers & JDC in an eight-man tag team match. Ash by Elegance & Heather by Elegance will defend the TNA Knockouts Championships against the IInspiration on the pre-show.
