TNA Slammiversary Event History

TNA Slammiversary is Total Nonstop Action’s (TNA Wrestling) flagship annual pay-per-view, celebrating the company’s anniversary. As one of TNA’s “Big Four” events, it features high-profile championship matches and major storyline climaxes—acting as the centerpiece of the promotion’s summer season. Since debuting in 2005, Slammiversary has been held every year to mark TNA’s anniversary, originally launching in Orlando. Over time, notable editions took place in Nashville, Dallas, Toronto, and Montreal. In 2023, under AEW’s ownership, it featured a high-flying main event with Alex Shelley and Nick Aldis. TNA has used the event to spotlight crossover talent—from WWE’s NXT, AAA, and even WWE stars through its enhanced partnership with WWE. For 2025, Slammiversary marks the 21st edition and shifts to the UBS Arena in New York—reflecting TNA’s strategic move into major metropolitan markets. The card features cross-promotional matchups and a trio of top stars battling for the TNA World Championship: Trick Williams (c), Joe Hendry, and Mike Santana.
