TNA President Carlos Silva is shedding light on what’s really happening behind the scenes between TNA Wrestling and WWE—and according to him, the relationship is running like clockwork.

During his interview with Rewind Recap Relive, Silva opened up about the inner workings of TNA’s creative alliance with WWE’s NXT brand. While most fans only see the on-screen crossovers, Silva explained how the week-to-week creative process has evolved into a tightly coordinated effort between both companies.

“You know, really it’s really an extension of what we do on the creative side every single week with Tommy and with Hunter, uh, with Eric, the rest of our production team. But now working with Shawn Michaels down at NXT and Johnny Russo, we’ve all just gotten into a rhythm around what we’re doing. We do just like we do with each other. We have an extension with them. They ask us questions. We work through issues. We try to understand the schedule, people getting where they need to be because, as you know, just the logistics of making sure that people are where they need to be on certain nights is a big deal.”

Silva emphasized that this isn’t just a one-off arrangement—it’s now a functioning creative relationship. Having the WWE Performance Center and NXT’s Tuesday night slot on The CW has allowed both sides to coordinate more efficiently, especially over the last three months.

“You know, it’s great having the Performance Center and being on CW with NXT on Tuesday nights, and it’s really been seamless and, and I’d say especially over the last 90 days quite, quite easy and very, uh, very team-oriented, which is great.”

Silva’s comments reflect a growing confidence in the partnership’s potential. The logistical planning, creative discussions, and cooperative mindset seem to have created a reliable system where both companies benefit.
