TNA is entering a whole new chapter in 2026, and Carlos Silva is making it clear — this AMC deal isn’t just a new home, it’s a massive leap forward.

Appearing on the Battleground Podcast, the TNA President reflected on how far the company has come and why AMC chose them over more traditional sports networks.

“We sort of made it over the hump. You know, we got noticed by everything that happened in 2025… Sometimes you get a little lucky, but sometimes you make your luck by working hard.”

Silva said AMC was fully on board with their vision — and having wrestling fans on AMC’s side helped push the deal across the finish line. But this isn’t just about airing on Thursday nights. It’s about being everywhere.

“AMC is a foundational cable network in America. It’s on the first page of everyone’s guide… That’s going to change the game for our wrestlers. It’s going to change the game for the team. It’s going to change the game for TNA.”

But with this move came online rumors that TNA’s partnership with WWE and NXT could take a hit. Silva didn’t hesitate to clear that up fast.

“We’re just going to do what we’ve done every day with WWE and NXT… We’re talking with them, texting every day. We sent them the note that the AMC deal was happening — got so many nice notes back about how excited they were.”

He also hinted that this could benefit WWE talent as well.

“I hope that we can give a little back to them… that some of their superstars will also enjoy that platform on AMC as well.”

As for AMC itself, Silva said their lack of wrestling history was actually a huge upside. The network wasn’t just looking to fill airtime—they wanted a true partnership.

“They didn’t just want to stick us in a time slot. They actually wanted to partner and really grow and change and do some new things together.”

Silva also addressed the shifting media landscape, saying that the idea of “streamers” versus “networks” is becoming irrelevant.

“Streaming is just TV as well. That word’s going to disappear any day now because we’re all watching the NFL on Netflix or we’re watching WWE on Netflix.”

TNA’s new era officially begins January 15, 2026, on AMC — and Silva’s message is crystal clear: they’re ready to level up.
