TNA Wrestling pulled off something big on January 23, delivering its first live episode of TNA iMPACT in eight years. From shocking returns to unexpected alliances, the show had plenty of moments that got people talking—but the biggest reaction might have come from TNA’s own management.

According to PWInsider, officials within the company were very happy with how the live broadcast played out, feeling it went off without any major issues. The success of the event has sparked discussions about making live TNA iMPACT episodes a regular thing.

“The hope is to do them at least once a month going forward, but that’s not locked in stone,” the report stated.

With TNA now aligned with WWE’s NXT brand and a renewed focus on expanding its presence, moving to more frequent live programming could be a major step forward. The response to the January 23 episode—both from within the company and the fans—suggests the demand is there.
