Mike Santana became a fan-favorite in TNA Wrestling after his return to the company after his AEW run. Now, he is set for another shot at their top title.

Santino Marella logged onto X, where he posted that the fans’ voice has been heard. Now, Mike Santana is a part of the upcoming World Title match at Slammiversary.

“BREAKING: @milanmiracle has listened to the fans and @Santana_Proud has been added to the TNA World Title match at #TNASlammiversary. It will now be @_trickwilliams vs. @joehendry vs. Mike Santana for the TNA World Title LIVE on PPV and TNA+ on July 20 at the UBS Arena on Long Island, NY.”

Mike Santana and Ortiz had a famous falling out, but now the former Proud and Powerful member is going on his own. Things seem to be working out well for Santana at this point, and only time will tell if he walks out of Slammivesary with the TNA World Title.

Joe Hendry’s rematch for the TNA World Title is a long time coming. Trick Williams shocked the world when he won the title from the stand-out TNA babyface. Now, Hendry will have another shot, but he will also have to deal with Santana.
