Masha Slamovich’s situation with TNA Wrestling has taken another turn — and now there’s finally clarity on her status with the company.
According to Sports Illustrated’s John Alba, Slamovich’s quiet removal from the official TNA website wasn’t an accident. Alba reports that she is no longer with the company, but TNA leadership isn’t shutting the door permanently.
“I’m told she is not currently with the company, but leadership plans to touch base with her and regroup in 2026. TNA had previously launched an investigation after a former partner accused her of abuse.”
This update comes after months of fallout following domestic abuse allegations made by her ex-partner AKIRA. Their situation went public when AKIRA’s current manager posted screenshots of texts and photos online, leading to Slamovich being pulled from TNA programming in September.
Shortly after, Slamovich released a statement taking responsibility for her part in what she described as a “toxic and mutually destructive relationship.”
“Up until the beginning of this year, I was in a toxic and mutually destructive relationship. We hurt each other deeply… I take responsibility for my actions and I am sorry, embarrassed, and ashamed of the role I played in our relationship.”
With her official profile removed and now confirmation that she is not with TNA, Slamovich has continued working in Germany and on the U.S. independent circuit, including an appearance at an AIW event in Ohio. But it’s clear her mainstream wrestling trajectory has changed in a big way.
The new report offers the first sign of a possible future path: a potential regrouping with TNA in 2026, depending on internal discussions and the long-term outcome of the company’s investigation. For now, her time in TNA is over — but the door isn’t fully closed.
