TNA taped the October 2 and October 9 episodes of Impact from Edmonton, Alberta on September 27, 2025. Here are the spoilers:
AJ Francis came out for the First Class Penthouse. Myron Reed joined him and got a strong reaction after his match the night before. Francis insulted Reed’s “baby mama,” which led to Reed hitting him. Francis tried to chokeslam him through a table, but Reed avoided it, tossed Francis to the floor, and hit a dive on him.
Spitfire broke down as Dani Luna pinned Jody Threat, despite the Canadian crowd heavily backing Threat. It was a very good match.
The System defeated The Rascalz, The Great Hands, and Sinner and Saint in a four-way match. Another strong showing.
Kings Speech with Frankie Kazarian led to a six-person tag: Kazarian, Trick Williams, and Kelani Jordan vs. Matt Hardy, Leon Slater, and Indi Hartwell. During the segment, Trick warned that if Mike Santana touched him without reason, their Bound For Glory match would be off. Santana was on commentary, and when Kazarian was pushed into Trick, it triggered chaos. In the end, Leon Slater pinned Kazarian.
Tommy Dreamer came out on the ramp with several TNA stars and officially announced the Invasion event. He praised multiple talents, dropping lines like “Matt Cardona likes toys” and ending with a fiery promise: “If NXT wants a war, I will bring you a fu**ng war.”* Dreamer showed he can still deliver a passionate promo like no one else.
The IInspiration defeated The Elegance Brand to become the new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
The Angel Warriors picked up a win over local competitors Ava Lawless and Kat Von Heez.
Nick Nemeth defeated Hometown hero.
Alisha Edwards, backed by The System, scored a win over Tasha Steelz, who was accompanied by Order 4.
Trick Williams cut an in-ring promo to hype Thursday’s show before Bound for Glory, and Mike Santana fired back from the crowd. Both delivered strong promos.
Matt Cardona defeated Ryan Nemeth. The Nemeths still have HTM’s mask from Victory Road, keeping that storyline alive.
A rematch between Elegance Brand and The IInspiration has been added to Bound for Glory.
The TNA Knockouts Championship contract signing took place between Indi Hartwell and Kelani Jordan. No table spot this time, just a respectful face-to-face promo between the two.
The System’s feud with Zero 4 continued as Mustafa Ali faced JDC. Ali picked up the win after Special Agent Zero slammed JDC into the apron during a ringside melee while the referee was distracted. Ali then hit the 450 for the finish. After the match, The System tossed weapons into the ring and shouted at their Bound for Glory opponents.
TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater also delivered a promo ahead of Bound for Glory.
Eric Young defeated Joe Hendry in a No Disqualification match, finishing him off with a piledriver onto a chair.
Moose won the match by stoppage after Ridge landed awkwardly and injured his ankle or leg. Ridge couldn’t put any weight on it, and Moose helped carry him to the back.
Mike Santana defeated Cedric Alexander in a strong main event. After the match, Santana praised Edmonton while fans chanted “Please come back.” He thanked them, calling them “one of the best pro wrestling crowds ever.” Santana then plugged Bound for Glory as the crowd chanted “Next World Champ.” This closed out the tapings.
