Backstage, Team NXT discussed their strategy for next week’s NXT vs. TNA steel cage match.

Lexis King scored a win over Matt Cardona with a rollup after Stacks Lorenzo caused a distraction, and the two then attacked Cardona until Steve Maclin ran in to make the save.

The Elegance Brand, Heather and M by Elegance, picked up a victory over Harley Hudson and Myla Grace.

Cedric Alexander won a six-man match against BDE, Jason Hotch, Ryan Nemeth, Dezmond Xavier, and Jake Something to earn a future shot at the X Division Championship by pinning BDE.

Rich Swann told Gia Miller that Fir$t Cla$$ was finished and he was leaving the group, but AJ Francis jumped him moments later.

Dani Luna defeated Indi Hartwell in a Dog Collar Match.

The System appeared backstage, confirming that JDC will face Eddie Edwards in his retirement match at Genesis.

Santino Marella informed Frankie Kazarian that he will defend the world title against the winner of next week’s 20-man battle royal.

The System, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, defeated Sinner & Saint, Judas Icarus and Travis Williams. The Hardys also came out to call out The Righteous.

Later backstage, Santino announced that Matt Cardona had been injured in the earlier attack, so Santino himself would step into the NXT vs. TNA steel cage match next week.
