TNA Wrestling pulled off a major milestone with its first live episode of TNA iMPACT in eight years, and it turns out they had some extra hands behind the scenes.

Joey Spector revealed on Twitter that TNA got some outside help from San Antonio Style Wrestling / AWR Wrestling, who assisted with merchandise sales and meet-and-greets for the historic event.

“Great time with the San Antonio Style Wrestling / AWR Wrestling crew at TNA today, helped out with the merch and meet and greets. Blessed to have been a part of it. See y’all tomorrow!” Spector wrote, attaching a group photo of the team.

TNA officials were reportedly very pleased with how the event came together, with PWInsider reporting that the show went off without any major hiccups. The success of the live broadcast has already sparked conversations about making live iMPACT episodes a more regular occurrence.
