TNA Genesis Match Between Mike Santana and Josh Alexander Now Includes Extra Twist

Things just got real between Mike Santana and Josh Alexander, and there’s no turning back now. On the January 16 episode of TNA iMPACT!, Alexander thought he could take the easy way out by calling off his match against Santana at TNA Genesis—but Santana wasn’t about to let that slide.

Limping to the ring after last week’s brutal beatdown by Alexander and the Northern Armory, Santana wasn’t interested in excuses. Instead, he threw down the ultimate challenge: an I Quit Match at Genesis on January 19.

Never one to back down, Alexander accepted, but not before making a bold promise—if Santana somehow makes him say those two infamous words, he’ll shake his hand in the middle of the ring. Santana, however, had no interest in mutual respect. He made it clear that when the dust settles, he won’t just be the winner—he’ll be the new standard in TNA Wrestling.
