TNA is closing out the year with Final Resolution and the company is determined to book a solid show from top to bottom. That’s exactly why the event has an absolutely stacked lineup to ensure fans are entertained throughout the night.
Frankie Kazarian makes his first defense after calling his shot to win the TNA World Title last month. JDC, who retires this January at Genesis, has one last shot at gold before hanging up his boots. So we’ll have to see if he can somehow beat Kazarian and end his career on a high note.
Léi Yǐng Lee shocked the world at NXT Gold Rush by becoming the first Chinese Knockouts Champion in TNA history. Xia Brookside got a shot at her title after winning a Four-Way qualifier and a singles match. So it remains to be seen who’ll walk out as the Knockouts Champion when all is said and done.
NXT’s Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe will be challenging Matt and Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Tag Team Championships at Final Resolution. For the Hardys, this is about more than gold since they don’t want the invading NXT stars to take what’s rightfully theirs, so fans are waiting to see if an upset win happens on the show.
NXT star Stacks has his work cut out for him as he’ll challenge Steve Maclin for the TNA International Championship. Maclin has been a fighting champion since winning the title, so we will have to see if he can retain the title against Stacks, who’ll use any tactic necessary to get the win.
AJ Francis has been feuding with Leon Slater for the past several weeks and it will all come to a head at Final Resolution, as he’ll challenge Slater for the TNA X-Division Championship. Francis wants to end Slater’s reign for good, but Slater won’t go down without a fight, so fans can expect a solid match between the two.
Mike Santana will duke it out with Charlie Dempsey in what’s expected to be a grudge match after Charlie Dempsey’s role in costing him the TNA World Championship. In another match, Matt Cardona will face Mance Warner in a Street Fight and it’s expected to be a really brutal affair.
The Rascalz and Myron Reed will face off against Mustafa Ali, The Great Hands and Special Agent 0 in an 8-man tag team match and it’ll definitely be a fast-paced bout.
The IInspiration defend their Knockouts Tag Team Championships against Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford. Finally, Eric Young will go one-on-one with Cedric Alexander after weeks of feuding.
Tonight’s TNA Final Resolution event promises to deliver high drama, incredible matchups, and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
