Another TNA star is approaching free agency, and it’s happening sooner than most anticipated.

According to Fightful Select, Jake Something’s current deal with TNA Wrestling is set to expire at the end of the year—despite earlier belief that he was locked in through mid-2026.

Jake originally signed with TNA (then Impact Wrestling) during the summer a couple of years back. At the time, the expectation was that his contract would run until around June 2026. That timeline has now been corrected.

There’s no word yet on whether contract talks have officially started between Jake Something and TNA management. However, his situation adds to a growing list of talents who could hit the market in the coming months. Zachary Wentz, AJ Francis, and Steve Maclin are among the other names reportedly set to finish their contracts by year’s end.
