TNA Wrestling is taking steps to fix its production problems following a rocky return to weekly cable television.

According to PWInsider, sources within TNA confirmed that the production issues from last week’s iMPACT on AMC premiere were addressed internally, and the company is hoping to correct them by this week’s broadcast.

“In speaking with TNA sources about last week's production issues, we were told they were addressed internally and the hope is the issues will be rectified this week.”

The report comes after widespread criticism from fans and industry veterans who pointed to audio glitches, awkward camera angles, and odd visual choices during the debut episode on AMC. One of the most vocal critics was Eric Bischoff, who ripped into the production during his 83 Weeks podcast. He questioned who was behind the camera and said the entire format felt off.

“The format itself was just really not very well – it wasn’t well-produced. I don’t know who’s writing their show, who’s producing their show, who’s directing their show. All of them have some work to do.”

Bischoff also mocked the use of an overhead ring shot that he said made the venue look tiny. Another complaint involved the positioning of celebrity guests in an empty part of the building, which some felt made the show look low-energy and half-full.

“The ring looks like you could fit it in my kitchen… The overhead shot they used made it look like a postage stamp. I would never use that shot again if they’re going to keep that same ring. Whoever decided to post those celebrities in the one corner of the building where there were no freaking people… They looked like jabronis.”

Despite the backlash, TNA’s internal response suggests the company is aware of the situation and treating it seriously. With this week’s episode fast approaching, all eyes will be on whether they’ve managed to clean up the production and deliver the fresh start fans were promised.

A rocky first impression can be hard to shake, but TNA appears committed to fixing the cracks behind the curtain. If this week’s iMPACT looks and sounds better, the company might just get the reset it needs.
