Next week’s WWE RAW in Philadelphia is shaping up to be a must-see event—and now it’s got a major championship match to prove it.
On August 16, Natalya posted a video on Instagram revealing that she received a text message from WWE official Adam Pearce, confirming that she will face Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the August 18 episode of RAW. Natalya made it clear she’s ready to remind the world exactly who she is, and a win over Lynch in Philly could be the perfect way to do it.
This big announcement joins an already exciting card. During this week’s RAW in Quebec City, a backstage segment saw The New Day and Grayson Waller confront Adam Pearce. Xavier Woods was fuming after Penta messed up his hat, and Waller jokingly suggested Penta be banned from wearing hats. Instead, Pearce booked a one-on-one match between Woods and Penta for next week.
Philadelphia’s own Paul Heyman is also expected to appear, possibly alongside Seth Rollins, and you can bet the Philly crowd will treat him like royalty.
With Becky Lynch vs. Natalya for the gold, Woods vs. Penta, and Heyman likely making an appearance, next week’s RAW is looking absolutely loaded.
