Immediately following their win, tensions escalated as they brawled with champions FTR—Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler—setting the tone for what comes next.

AEW President Tony Khan took to X/Twitter to make the championship match official, confirming that FTR will defend their titles against Doyle and Davis on the January 28 edition of Dynamite live from the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
