Jamie Hayter is officially getting her shot at the AEW Women’s Championship, and it’s happening at AEW Dynasty.
During Thursday’s episode of AEW Collision, Hayter stepped up and challenged Thekla for the title. Not long after the challenge was made, the match was confirmed, locking in a major women’s title bout for the upcoming pay-per-view.
These two already have history. Thekla made her AEW debut back in May 2025 by attacking Hayter, which kicked off their rivalry. Later that year, Hayter handed Thekla her first singles loss in AEW at WrestleDream 2025, making this title match feel personal heading into Dynasty.
Another match has also been added to the event. Alex Windsor will face Marina Shafir during the Zero Hour pre-show, giving fans an extra women’s matchup before the main card begins.
AEW Dynasty takes place on April 12, 2026 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The show will air on HBO, Amazon, and traditional pay-per-view.
