WWE is doing everything they can to make things interesting for fans at live events. Thankfully, the WWE 24/7 Title is around to keep things interesting.
During WWE’s recent live show in Hawaii, Chad Gable defeated EC3 in a singles match while R-Truth sat at ringside. The WWE 24/7 Champion was acting as ring announcer, but he would soon get involved.
EC3 pinned Truth to become a four-time WWE 24/7 Champion. Then Truth quickly pinned EC3 to get his title back. Chad Gable made the count so apparently, he’s a referee now too.
If you’re doing the math, R-Truth is now a 19-time WWE 24/7 Champion. This is a pretty impressive number regardless of the specifics rules surrounding the title.
