CM Punk made his boundaries clear—but that didn’t stop one TikTok user from crossing the line in front of the world.

Back in October 2025, the WWE Champion took to Instagram Stories to issue a direct message to fans who had been showing up uninvited at airports and hotels, trying to catch him off guard. He made it clear this kind of behavior wasn’t support—it was harassment.

“We unfortunately have to have this conversation again,” Punk wrote in the post. “Do not turn up at airports. Do not show up at hotels. I cannot believe I have to say this. DO NOT FOLLOW PEOPLE.”

He went further, explaining that he’s repeatedly tried to address these boundary violations politely—but now he’s done asking nicely.

“You’ve repeatedly been politely told no, respect it,” Punk added. “You are not a fan, you are a stalker and will be treated as such. Respect the boundaries. Stop harassing people.”

Just a few weeks later, in November, a TikTok user named Kingofbundy completely ignored that plea. The fan uploaded videos showing CM Punk and AJ Lee arriving at the Hyatt Regency. One clip even features the user complaining that Punk gave them a “dirty look”—despite the fact that they were actively filming him and AJ entering their hotel.

That triggered a flood of backlash in the comments, with fans slamming the TikToker for exactly the type of behavior Punk warned about. One commenter reminded others that Punk has publicly expressed his dislike for this exact type of interaction:

“Y’all clearly aren’t fans of his, he’s talked about how much he hates people who do this.”

Another pointed out how invasive it would feel to be followed back to your own hotel:

“I would be mad too if a bunch of strangers followed me to my hotel room.”

Others pointed out the context that this wasn’t just a solo celebrity being approached—it was Punk with his wife, in their private time:

“He’s with his wife, leave them alone, they deserve privacy.”

Another fan echoed the real-world split between performer and person, making it clear CM Punk has a right to live without this kind of surveillance:

“BROO outside of WWE he’s Phil and in WWE he’s CM Punk, he’s just trying to live his life.”

And it didn’t stop there. In a separate video, the TikToker filmed Bayley and Roxanne Perez entering the same hotel. Then, they crossed the line even further by filming Punk waiting in the lobby for his DoorDash order with Roxanne—captioning the clip with an insult, calling him a “hungry ass b***.”*

The entire situation has reignited a long-running issue in wrestling and celebrity culture: how far is too far? What might feel like a harmless fan interaction often ends up being an uncomfortable—and sometimes threatening—violation of privacy. Punk isn’t the only one dealing with this. Wrestlers across the industry have shared stories of being followed through security, approached at dinner, and even having fans request their room numbers at hotel front desks.

CM Punk, AJ Lee, Bayley, Roxanne Perez—all of them deserve to enjoy some separation between work and real life. Following them around, filming them in their down time, and mocking them publicly isn’t being a fan—it’s being a stalker.
