Tiffany Stratton came inches away from punching her ticket to WrestleMania 42 — but after falling short inside the Elimination Chamber, her path to the biggest show of the year is currently uncertain.
Stratton entered the Women’s Elimination Chamber on February 28 in Chicago with momentum and serious fan support. She outlasted multiple competitors and made it all the way to the final two alongside Rhea Ripley. But one Riptide ended it. Ripley secured the victory and the WrestleMania 42 title shot against Jade Cargill — leaving Stratton on the outside looking in.
Now, according to a new backstage update, WWE may not have a clear plan for her heading into WrestleMania. Speaking during a Self Made Session on March 2, 2026, Self Made Pro revealed that Stratton’s direction is currently unclear.
“What does Tiffany do at Mania? Right now, she’s kind of directionless. WWE isn’t sure what Tiffany does because she’s in pretty good form at the moment, admittedly, but she didn’t get the Jade Cargill match. So we’ll see what’s next for Tiffany.”
That’s a big shift considering Stratton has been heavily featured and positioned as one of the division’s biggest stars. Despite her strong showing inside the Chamber — and being one of the final two — missing out on the WrestleMania title match has left her without an obvious storyline.
With WrestleMania 42 rapidly approaching and several matches still in flux, Stratton’s situation is one to watch. She’s clearly valued, but as of now, there’s no confirmed opponent or angle locked in.
