Tiffany Stratton just revealed a serious scare that nearly kept her out of one of the biggest matches of her career.

In a new TikTok video, Stratton revealed that she nearly broke her neck the night before the Stand and Deliver 2023 ladder match. The clip shows Stratton rehearsing a spot that went wrong, with her landing dangerously close to the back of her neck outside the ring.

“Throwback to when I almost broke my neck the night before a big match,” she wrote in the video.

That match saw Roxanne Perez defend the NXT Women’s Title against Zoey Stark, Gigi Dolin, Lyra Valkyria, Indi Hartwell, and Stratton herself. It was a high-risk, fast-paced ladder match that ended with Indi Hartwell capturing the title—but few fans watching knew one of the competitors had nearly been injured the night before.

Since that match, Stratton has continued to build her profile in WWE. She eventually captured the WWE Women’s Championship, but has not appeared on WWE television since losing the title to Jade Cargill at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November 2025.

Stratton’s video is the first time she’s publicly spoken about the near-accident, and it gives fans a look at the physical demands performers deal with—even before the show begins.

What do you think about Tiffany Stratton’s near injury during rehearsals? Were you surprised she still went ahead with the match? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
