Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton shocked fans during the April 4 episode of SmackDown when their promo didn’t go as planned and went off script. Since then, people have been talking a lot about what happened, and now Stratton has addressed the controversial promo.

While speaking on the Babyfaces podcast, Tiffany Stratton finally addressed the promo and revealed her thoughts on how the promo with Charlotte Flair went down. She explained that since she’s still pretty new to wrestling and recently became champion,

Stratton believes that Charlotte Flair probably didn’t expect her to stand her ground or fire back during the segment. But Tiffany said she wasn’t going to back down, especially with WrestleMania coming up and the stakes being so high.

Stratton pointed out that it was live TV, and she’s doing everything she can to keep her title. Tiffany believes their intense back-and-forth made people more excited to see their match and got them invested in the story. Right now, she’s focused on delivering what she hopes will be the best women’s match ever and is ready to give it everything she’s got.

“Being so new into this business and being so new as champion, I don’t think she really expected me to stand up to her and I don’t think she expected me to, almost clap back. All I have to say is, it’s live TV, stakes are high. We’re going into WrestleMania. I have the title, I want to keep the title. I’m going to pull out every stop that I can and people want to see our match. I think we did a very good job or getting people wanting to see our match and invested in our story. Now, I’m ready to put on the best women’s match ever and ready to go to war.”

Backstage, people said things got out of control and the whole situation was a complete wreck. Some blamed Charlotte for starting it, while others felt Tiffany went too far. One person said things really started to fall apart when Charlotte tried to copy Tiffany’s voice, and the whole thing became awkward.

With WrestleMania 41 coming up, fans are waiting to see how WWE continues the story. There seems to be real tension between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton, but many hope the drama doesn’t get in the way of their big match.
