Thunder Rosa just gave fans a major update—and it’s the one they’ve been waiting for.
After months on the sidelines due to injury, the former AEW Women’s World Champion is officially back in training. In a new Instagram story recorded from her home gym, Rosa confirmed she’s deep into her comeback prep and sweating it out in the Texas heat.
“Like I said, I’m training for my comeback. Once again, it’s all good — it’s 80 degrees in Texas. I trained for an hour and started sweating 20 minutes in. Thanks to Melissa, she’s one of my strength and conditioning trainers. She’s freaking awesome.”
That’s not all. In a previous update, Rosa made it clear that her recovery has been going smoothly and she’s close to returning to the ring.
“Right now, I’m just focusing on continuing my rehab from the injuries I had a couple of months ago. And I have really good news — everything is going really well. So, I’m expecting to return to the ring fairly soon.”
Thunder Rosa’s return couldn’t come at a better time. AEW’s women’s division is on the rise, and her presence would only raise the stakes. She’s one of the most intense and respected competitors in the company—and fans have been vocal about missing her energy and charisma.
Do you think Thunder Rosa will reclaim her spot at the top when she returns to AEW? Or has the game changed too much since she left? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
