WWE just dropped its third cryptic teaser—and the mystery is only deepening.

At exactly 7:45 PM ET on Sunday evening, the company released another short clip in the same style as the previous two. Once again, it’s just slow, deliberate footsteps—but this time, the lighting is a little brighter, and there’s an unexpected twist: the shoes look different.

While the first two teasers featured what appeared to be sharp dress shoes stepping across a dark floor, this new video shows what fans believe are orthopedic shoes. That one detail has already sent speculation spiraling in a new direction, with theories quickly shifting from GUNTHER to possibly someone entirely different.

This marks the third teaser WWE has dropped in less than 24 hours. The first had viewers thinking GUNTHER was making his return, especially after one eagle-eyed fan picked up on the faint sound of WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event theme, “Obsession,” playing quietly in the background. That song is heavily linked to John Cena’s rumored final match on December 13th.

With GUNTHER off TV since losing to CM Punk at SummerSlam, the initial theory made perfect sense. But this new shift in wardrobe might change everything. WWE could be playing a longer game than fans anticipated—or intentionally throwing everyone off track.
