The Deadman might not be done with WWE just yet—but it’s not a return to the ring he’s teasing. After a lot of speculation, The Undertaker has finally addressed the rumors about joining WWE’s creative team—and it turns out there’s real interest.
In a new interview with WrestleStar, The Undertaker was directly asked about possibly joining WWE Creative in an official role. While the interviewer framed the question as speculative, The Undertaker didn’t dodge it. He confirmed that the idea has been floating around and that he’s genuinely interested—under the right conditions.
“Rumors are rumors whirling around… Yeah, I’ve always kind of had an interest. It’s just a matter of making it work—with my schedule and the other things that I have going on. Because the ask for something like that is really big.”
He made it clear that if he’s going to do it, he’ll go all in:
“I would have to be 100% committed to be part of that, right? I mean, you have to be involved in all of these creative meetings and all of this other stuff.”
But he didn’t slam the door shut. In fact, he opened it wide enough to get fans talking:
“If we can figure out a way to make that happen—and me being obviously in Texas—you know, I would definitely entertain it.”
As always, The Undertaker emphasized that his heart is in helping talent and improving WWE’s product.
“If there’s something that I can do to make our product better—help talent—then I’m on board for that.”
This update follows Konnan’s comments on Keepin’ It 100, where he revealed that The Undertaker had already been active backstage during events like Money in the Bank and Worlds Collide. According to Konnan, the WWE Hall of Famer has been contributing to creative discussions and has a real eye for story development.
With his coaching success on WWE’s LFG series and decades of experience, The Undertaker could easily transition into one of the most respected voices behind the scenes. Whether it actually happens now depends on whether WWE and The Deadman can find the right setup.
