Tessa Blanchard is once again addressing the long-standing racism allegations that have followed her since 2020—but this time, she came armed with receipts.

On December 20, 2025, after a simple end-of-year tweet reignited backlash over the 2017 incident in Japan—where indie wrestler La Rosa Negra (also known as Nilka Garcia) accused Blanchard of calling her the N-word and spitting on her—Blanchard made it clear she’s tired of reliving the same accusations.

After issuing a strong denial earlier in the day, stating “I’m not perfect, made plenty of mistakes in my life… racism is not one of them nor has that ever been in my heart,” Blanchard later tweeted out a major update: she claimed that she and La Rosa Negra are actually on good terms.

“La Rosa and I are on very good terms and talk every now and then, usually about wrestling! Would love to get her in TNA one day.”

To support that, she attached a screenshot of what appears to be a private message exchange between the two women. The messages show La Rosa Negra speaking with Blanchard—saying “you do it very beautifully” in Spanish, and later writing:

“Hahahaha let me defend you in TNA!!!! Jajajaja I was talking with Moody Jack about storylines and the reel of the (in-ring) came out!!! We start laughing in good way and well… just hoping u are well!”

Earlier in the thread, Blanchard) responded to a past message with:

“Honestly, I don’t think it’s worth rehashing. It’s in the past, and we’ve both moved forward. At this point, it’s really no one else’s business. I’m just glad we’re in a better place now, and I’d rather focus on that.”

“We remember things differently, and that’s okay. However, we both know race had nothing to do with what happened that night. At the end of the day, what matters is where we are now, not what’s behind us.”

Tessa Blanchard might think the case is closed, but wrestling fans don’t forget that easily. Even with DMs suggesting peace, the court of public opinion is far from convinced. Whether it’s genuine growth or just a PR play, time will tell—but if TNA really does bring La Rosa Negra in for a storyline? Yeah, you better believe people will be watching every move.
