DiBiase debuted in 2006 after training under Chris Youngblood and at Harley Race’s Wrestling Academy. He rose to prominence in WWE (2007–2013), winning the World Tag Team Championship twice with Cody Rhodes and holding the Million Dollar Championship. After leaving WWE in 2013, he continued on the indie scene until retiring in 2020.
Since leaving WWE, DiBiase has pursued entrepreneurship and development, launching companies such as a marketing/branding firm and 16 Creative, and serving as VP of business development for One Life. He’s also appeared in media projects like The Marine 2 and WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures.
DiBiase married his high school sweetheart, Kristen Tynes (a registered nurse), on October 30, 2008. They have two children: son Tate (born May 15, 2012) and daughter Ava (born 2018).
In April 2023, DiBiase Jr. was indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice, facing multiple counts of conspiracy, wire fraud, theft concerning federal funds, and money laundering related to misuse of Mississippi welfare funds—allegedly involving millions of dollars. He remains presumed innocent pending trial.
